Milwaukee Germans have entered the political arena as a nationality for the first tme with the formation and incorporation of the German-American Action League for Wisconsin.
Incorporators were listed as Bernard Hofmann president of the Federation of German Societies; Helmuth Falk an editor of the local daily Deutsche Zeitung; Earl Dauterman, president of the Producer-Consumer Milk Cooperative at Jackson; Mrs. Mary Kappel and Mrs. Andrea Bingenheimer.
Hofmann admitted the league intends to endorse for office candidates of German extraction, no matter what party they represent.
