A resolution expressing gratitude to Prof. Robert M. MacIver for his report on Jewish community relations agencies and deploring “the attempt to impugn the integrity of Dr. MacIver” was unanimously adopted by the Evaluative Studies Committee of the National Community Relations Advisory Council this week-end.
The resolution denounced these attempts and declared, “whatever agreements or disagreements there may be with Dr. MacIver’s report, we recognize his views as those of a distinguished citizen and a great scholar who deserves every consideration and respect.”
