Nearly one in four Israeli households suffers from inadequate food and nutrition, a report found. “Unprecedented numbers” of people in Israel are unable to buy the food necessary for a healthy diet, according to Laurie Heller, co-chairwoman of the coalition of groups in Israel and the United States that helped fund the study after noticing increased funding requests from Israeli nonprofits that provide for food.
