Nebraska police had the right to deny a handgun permit to an American neo-Nazi, a judge ruled. Gary Lauck had lied when he said on the permit application that he had not been convicted in any court of a crime punishable by more than a year in prison, the judge said last Friday. Known as the “farmbelt fuhrer,” Lauck was deported by Germany to the United States earlier this year after spending some four years in a German prison for inciting racial hatred.
