Nefesh B’Nefesh and El Al are offering new immigrants block seats on flights bound for Israel. Nefesh B’Nefesh announced Wednesday that immigrants from North America and the United Kingdom can now avail themselves of reserved sections on regular El Al fights as part of a drive to reduce the bureaucracy they face upon arriving in Tel Aviv. Previously the pro-immigration group had offered expedited processing only on specially chartered flights. “We wanted to enable olim arriving throughout the year to have that same experience, in addition to the reduced bureaucracy,” Rabbi Yehoshua Fass, Nefesh B’Nefesh co-founder and executive director, said in a statement.
