Negotiations for the forthcoming election of a new president of the Polish Republic by the National Assembly have been started here.

Plans are now under way whereby the representatives of the national minorities in Poland, including Ukrainians, White Russians, Lithuanians. Jews and Germans should present a united front in the election of the new president.

It was learned today that Count Alexander Skrzynski, former Prime Minister, has the best chance of being elected president.
