Negotiations on Polish Loan Discontinued

The negotiations between the Bankers Trust Company, Kuhn Loeb & Co., and the Chase National Bank, representatives of the American Tobacco Company and the Polish government concerning a loan were reported to have been discontinued, according to despatches from Warsaw in the metropolitan press. The American representatives asked the full control of the Bank Polska, the bank in Poland which issues the currency. The American Tobacco Company asked for the monopoly of the Polish tobacco industry.
