Prime Minister Nehru of India and President Nasser of the United Arab Republic discussed yesterday the possible implications for the Middle East of the collapse of the summit meeting in Paris, the Times of London reported today from Cairo, Nehru, who is on a seven-day visit to the UAR, will visit Arab refugee camps in the Gaza Strip today.
The London press also reported today that the Iraq boycott of the French auto firm, Regie Renault, was lifted yesterday and immediately re-imposed. The anti-Israel Boycott Office in Baghdad announced it had lifted the ban because the French company had withdrawn from operations in Israel. It added that the ban had been continued because the Iraq Government had decided to establish an economic boycott against France in support of the Algerian liberation movement.
