A gift of $250,000 from the Neinken Foundation to Maimonides Hospital of Brooklyn was announced at the annual meeting of the hospital’s board of trustees tonight by Edward Neimeth, president. In transmitting the gift, Jacob Neinken and his sons, Mortimer and Edward, directors of the Foundation, stipulated that it be applied to the cost of constructing a building on the hospital site to house a new outpatient department and clinic. It is estimated that the new annex will cost approximately $1,000,000 to construct and equip.
