A Bonn court has imposed a suspended five-month sentence on the editor of a neo-Nazi magazine for falsely declaring that the leader of the Social Democratic Party in West Germany had promised, if elected Chancellor, to send German troops and arms to Israel to help the Jewish State.
The court convicted and sentenced Otto Karl Duepow for also writing in the pro-Arab “Deutsch Afrika Orient Information” that Erich Ollenhauer, the Social Democratic Party chieftain, was married to a Jewish woman and that their daughter had volunteered to serve in the Israeli Army. The prosecution had charged that the statements were libelous.
