An agreement between the Netherlands Government and the HIAS for the admission of Jewish D.P. children now in Germany to Holland for vocational training and ultimate citizenship has been concluded in Amsterdam, it was announced today by Isaac L. Asofsky, executive director of the organization.
The agreement permits HIAS to select and bring to Holland an initial group of 100 Jewish youths from the D.P. camps of Germany. After five years’ residence in Holland the young people will be granted Netherlands citizenship.
