The $200,000 Kupat Cholim Hospital, one of the best-equipped medical institutions in the Near East, was dedicated yesterday at Petach Tikvah.
High Commissioner Sir Arthur Grenfell Wauchope, speaking at the opening ceremonies, promised to recommend to the British Colonial Office a $75,000 allocation to build a new wing for the hospital.
He expressed satisfaction at the speed with which the hospital had been erected.
