Anti-Jewish student excesses broke out this morning in Bucharest. The authorities, however, immediately took strong measures to suppress the disturbances, a despatch from Bucharest received here declares.

Details are not yet available but it is known that inciting manifestoes were distributed in the Roumanian capital.

At a conference called immediately by General Nicoleanu, the Chief of Police and the Royal Commissioner, Caraianca, it was decided to take the severest measures to suppress the disturbances.
