An anti-Jewish organization calling itself the Union for British Freedom has made its appearance in England, it was reported today.

The group has issued a leaflet entitled “World Jewry Versus Britain,” and its members created disturbances at a recent meeting calling for Jewish immigration to Palestine.

The initials of the group – UBF – are an ominous reminder of the BUF – the British Union of Fascists – which was Sir Oswald Mosley’s anti-Semitic organization.

At the same time, Mosley is using new methods in an effort to stage a comeback. The Mosleyites are operating cautiously under the guise of “book clubs” which are springing up in London and the provinces. The movement seems spontaneous but it is really being coordinated from a central headquarters. Mosley and his lieutenants regularly visit these clubs, which present speakers lecturing on the Arab stand on Palestine.
