INCENDIARY BOMBS THROWN BY UNIDENTIFIED PERSONS WHO ESCAPED STARTED A NUMBER OF FIRES IN JEWISH HOUSES IN PRZYTYK WHICH WERE EXTINGUISHED AFTER CAUSING SOME DAMAGE.
A 12-YEAR-OLD JEWISH BOY WAS BADLY HURT DURING ATTACKS ON JEWISH HOMES IN THE TOWNSHIP OF LEOPOLDOWO, NEAR RYKI. SEVERAL JEWS WERE INJURED IN STREET ATTACKS IN ZYRADOW. A REIGN OF TERROR GRIPPED THE TOWNSHIP OF BYCHOWO, IN LUBLIN DISTRICT, WHERE CONTINUOUS ANTI-JEWISH PROPAGANDA WAS IN PROGRESS, AND WHERE POLICE FAILED TO ACT TO HALT ATTACKS ON JEWS IN THE STREETS AND THE STONING OF JEWISH HOUSES AND SHOPS.
“GHETTO STALLS” WERE INTRODUCED IN THE MARKET OF OSTROW-MAZOWIECKI, WHERE JEWISH TRADERS WERE CONFINED TO AN INACCESSIBLE CORNER OF THE MARKET, AND SURROUNDED BY A CORDON OF PICKETS. TWO HUNDRED JEWISH MERCHANTS WERE AFFECTED. IN THE TOWNSHIP OF STAROGARD, NEAR THORN, SHARP CLASHES OCCURRED BETWEEN TOWNSPEOPLE AND ANTI-SEMITIC PICKETS PATROLLING JEWISH SHOPS.
