The 1965 campaign of the United Jewish Appeal of Essex County will conclude with a minimum of $2,365,000–the highest total reached since 1949, David M. Litwin, campaign chairman, announced today.
The campaign, fund-raising arm of the Jewish Community Council of Essex County, raised $2,150,000 in 1964. Charles Stern is president of the Jewish Community Council and Abe Sudran its executive director. Martin S. Rakitt is director of fund-raising.
