New Bombings Continue to Terrorize Jews in Prussian Towns; Increased Police Force Stationed in Koeni

The terrorization of Jews resident in East Prussia is showing no signs of abatement.

Last night a hand grenade was thrown into a store owned by a Jew, Heimann, in Johannisburg. All the windows of the store were broken.

In Lyck, numerous Jewish stores were stoned. Hand grenades were thrown into the business offices of a Jewish firm in Limberg and into a drug store owned by a Jew Frankenstein. The hand grenade failed to explode in the latter place.

Early this morning a hand grenade was hurled into the house of Dr. Eckstein of Breslau and exploded near the bed in which Dr. Eckstein, a leading Social-Democrat was sleeping. The room was damaged, but Dr. Eckstein was unhurt.

The bombers fled in an automobile and eluded capture.

In Kiel a bomb was thrown into the famous department store owned by a Jew, Karstadt. The building was damaged.

A state of alarm still prevails in Koenigsberg and increased police forces are stationed throughout the city.
