Three new books by Jewish authors have been published by Harper & Brothers this season. They are “My Life is in Your Hands,” Eddie Cantor’s book, as told to David Freedman, author of a novel “Mendel Marantz”; “The Terrible Siren,” by Emanie Sachs and “Behind Your Front,” by James Oppenheim.
Mr. Cantor’s royalties from the book will go to the Eddie Cantor Camp Committee, a fund to provide East Side boys with vacations in the country.
Mr. Oppenheim’s book “Behind Your Front.” is a popular book on psychoanalysis. “The Terrible Siren,” by Mrs. Sachs, is a biography of Victoria Claflin Woodhull.
