One of the tasks of the new French Canadian daily L’Ordre, which has made its appearance here, will be to combat the anti-Semitic propaganda now being carried on in the province of Quebec.
Proclaiming the editorial policy of the new publication, Oliver Asselin, well known liberal journalist, states that “he will publish documents to prove the peddlers of anti-Semitic propaganda to be nothing else than scoundrels.”
The first issue of the new daily contains material pointing out fallacies in the Nazi doctrines.
Asselin was the former editor of Le Canada.
