A new fascist party, the Fascist Party of Sao Paulo, has been organized here.
Its leaders, who are Brazilian descendants of Germans and Italians who have lived here for a long time, believe that the original Sao Paulo fascist party is not anti-Semitic enough.
The newspapers of Brazil devoted a great deal of space to the reports of the Jewish economic conference held recently at Geneva. The press here was under the impression that the conference represented the combined Jewish economic strength of all the world.
Some of the papers commented on the conference as being an important undertaking which would also indirectly benefit brazil, since many Jewish refugees would come there and help in the development of Brazilian industry, which would derive a great deal from their experience and intelligence.
