A new field service to advise Canadian Jewish communities on a wide range of activities will be launched December 1 Jointly by the Canadian Committee of the Council of Jewish Federations and Welfare Funds and the National Community Services Committee of the Canadian Jewish Congress, it was announced today.
The aim of the new service will be to provide a Canadian-oriented service to the communities attuned to their special needs in community organization, fund-raising, budgeting health and welfare planning and in development of regional and inter-city programs. It is expected also to assist the communities to extend and develop their community organization programs.
