B’nai B’rith will open a new Hillel Foundation at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa next autumn at the beginning of the college year, according to an announcement by the B’nai B’rith Hillel Foundation Commission. A director for the new Foundation will be appointed during the summer.
The University of Alabama will be the first in the South-east to have a B’nai B’rith Hillel Foundation. The only other one in the South is at the University of Texas.
