The Rabbi Zev Gold Institute for training religious teachers for service in countries outside Israel was opened here in the presence of religious leaders and members of the government.
The institution, which honors the memory of the late president of the Mizrachi Organization of America, will accommodate 25 education students from the United States, South America and a number of European lands. Eventually it will be expanded to provide facilities for 100 teacher trainees. The school is maintained by the Jewish Agency’s department of Torah education.
