The Ministerial Economic Commission today announced approval of a new Israel-American company which will engage in consultation work for Israel in Israel and abroad. The new firm, Isralund Engineers, Ltd., was formed by the Israel Electric Company and the engineering consulting firm of Sargent and Lundy of the United State.
The joint Israel-based venture is expected to result in considerable savings to Israeli industry by providing know-how that formerly had to be sought abroad, and is also expected to earn foreign exchange needed by Israel’s economy.
