The New Jersey Race Hatred Law under which nine members of the German-American Bund were sentenced for making anti-Semitic speeches, was today declared invalid by the State Supreme Court on the ground that it conflicts with the Constitutional guarantees of free speech. The nine men were charged originally with making or promoting anti-Jewish talks at the camp in Andover, Sussex County, and were fined $1,000 or $2,000 each and sentenced to from 12 to 14 months in prison.
