New Jersey’s poet laureate criticized Jewish and Israeli groups’ involvement in U.S. politics. Amiri Baraka, under fire for a poem called “Somebody Blew Up America,” which insinuates that Israel knew in advance of the Sept. 11 attacks, said last week the Anti-Defamation League should be “registered as an agent of a foreign power,” according to The Associated Press.
