New Jewish applicants in the Soviet Union seeking exit visas are continuing to lose their jobs, it was reported today by the National Conference on Soviet Jewry. Among those recently fired were Grigory Rosenstein, Vladimir Lefevre and Alexander Yanov. At the same time, the Student Struggle for Soviet Jewry reported that the three hunger strikers in Moscow–David Azbel, 63, Vitaly Rubin,50, and Vladimir Galatsky, 44–are growing weaker. The three began their hunger strike last Friday in Azbel’s apartment and have been subsisting on water.
