The Jewish National Fund has moved its headquarters into its own building, a new structure, facing King George Avenue, one of the leading thoroughfares of the city. The new headquarters is one of the few buildings in Palestine which has a central heating plant. The building will be dedicated shortly.
The decision of the Actions Committee of the Zionist organization to inscribe 5,000 names in the Golden Book as a memorial to Lord Balfour, is being received with enthusiasm by Jewry all over the world and the Jewish National Fund headquarters is making intensive plans for this effort which must be completed by the end of July to enable the August meeting of the Actions Committee to appropriate the funds.
The fourth volume of the Golden Book is now complete. This volume was manufactured in its entirety in Palestine and is specially devoted to the 25th anniversary of the Jewish National Fund. It contains 2,000 inscriptions.
