Actual work on the building of the Pauline Stern Wolff Memorial Home, which will be, on completion, the finest Jewish orphanage in Texas, promises to begin soon.
The home, which will make provision also for Jewish dependent widows, will be erected at Houston from the Wolff Endowment fund. This fund is expected to amount to about $700,000, and will provide for a revenue for the home after the buildings, ground improvements and equipment have been paid for. The home will fill a need in the State, and will provide the most modern methods of caring for orphans.
