The American Friends of the Alliance Israelite today reported that a new Jewish school for 1,300 students was opened yesterday in Casablanca and that the Alliance was entrusted with responsibility for instruction in the school under an agreement reached among the French authorities in Morocco, the Joint Distribution Committee and the Casablanca Jewish community.
