A new ORT training school was officially opened here this week-end with representatives of the Canadian Government and three national ORT bodies participating in the inaugural ceremonies.
Representing the Government were Doctor E.H. Coleman, Under-Secretary of State, and Senator A.K. Hugessen. Murray Levine of New York, Chairman of the American ORT; Pierre Dreyfus, head of the French ORT and Louis Fitch, president of the Canadian organization, spoke on behalf of their respective groups. The first ORT training school in Canada was opened last May in an internment campson Ile Aux Noix, about fifty miles from here.
