The new White paper on Palestine, which has been approved by the Cabinet, is to be published this week, the “Daily Herald” official organ of the Labour Party, wrote to-day (before the Prime Minister’s statement in the House). It clears up, it said, to the complete satisfaction of the Zionist leaders, the many misunderstandings which followed the publication, last October, of the White Paper explaining the Palestine policy of the Government.
In addition to removing the misunderstandings caused last October, the “Herald” further states, the White Paper will also give information as to the new Palestine Development Scheme. That information was to have been included in the October paper, was, in fact, included in the draft, but was omitted.
