The new regulation permitting Israel-bound Jews to emigrate from Poland will be promulgated on September 20, it was learned here today.
The Ministry of Public Administration, meanwhile, is preparing regulations governing the type and quantity of property which the immigrants will be permitted to take out of Poland. The Ministry is also issuing passports in greater numbers than ever before.
A representative of the Israel Consulate has gone to Paris to arrange for transportation for the immigrants. Some transportation experts believe that the best method of bringing the Jews to Israel would be on ships sailing directly from Polish ports to Haifa.
