A new road eleven kilometres long will be built from the American Colony Raa Nana to other Jewish colonies in the Sharon plain, it was announced today by the Palestine Government. The sum of $135,000 was approved by the government to cover the cost of building this road.
The construction contract has been awarded by the government to the contracting office of the Jewish Labor Corporation. Arabs will have to be employed on the construction work as well as Jews, the contract provides.
