Introduction of a new Sunday closing bill in the Illinois Legislature was seen here today as another effort to block or slow down the drive for passage of the Sunday closing bill which has been approved by the State Senate. The bill, now before the House, contains a Sabbath exemption.
The new measure asks that a commission be set up to study the question and submit its findings and recommendations to the 74th General Assembly “on or before April, 1, 1965.
