Minister of Commerce and Industry Antal Kunder was quoted today as declaring that no new licenses to conduct commercial and industrial enterprises would be issued to Jews. According to the newspaper Esti Kurir, Alderman Franz Felkey, at a meeting of the Budapest City Council, reported the minister’s decision that licenses would be given only to those considered as non-Jews under the first paragraph of the anti-Jewish law.
