A new trial of alleged Israeli terrorists is expected to open at the Sarafand military camp soon, it was reported here. Ten persons suspected of terrorism, including Zeev Yeivin, son of a Hebrew University professor, are expected to stand trial before a military court.
The new trial follows the sentencing last week of 13 Israeli youths to jail terms varying between one and 12 years for membership in an underground terrorist organization. One of the defendants had confessed to setting fire to the car of the Czech Minister to Tel Aviv and the prosecution had charged, but failed to prove, that the chief defendant had placed the explosives which blasted the Soviet Legation in Israel last February.
