The new trial of the young Jewish student, Philip Halsman, who had been sentenced by the Court at Innsbruck on a charge of patricide, will open today. The hearing will be public. Halsman, who is in the prison in Innsbruck, has submitted an application to the Court for permission to attend the appeal.
