New water sources have been discovered by the Mekorot Water Company in the Araba sector of the Negev, it was reported here today. The water, discovered at the relatively shallow depth of 150 feet, was found to be fit for drinking and irrigation. Another drilling is planned at Neot Hakikar at the southern tip of the Dead Sea.
