New York $2,500,000 U. P. A. Drive to Open Next Wednesday at Mecca Temple

The United Palestine Appeal for Greater New York seeking to raise $2,500,000 will be launched at a rally at Mecca Temple, on Wednesday evening February 15.

The leaders of the campaign are judges Otto A. Rosalsky and Max S. Levine, for New York, and Judges Mitchell May and Grover M. Moscowitz for Brooklyn. They are being assisted by Mrs. Sol Rosenbloom, Honorary Chairman for Women’s Activities; Mrs. Samuel C. Lamport, Chairman, Mrs. Israel Goldstein, Associate Chairman; Mrs. Louis Petchesky, Chairman of Brooklyn Women’s Activities, Mrs. Adolph Slomka, Associate Chairman, Max Blumberg, Treasurer, and Samuel Blitz, Director.

The opening rally will be addressed by United States Senator William H. King of Utah, Judge Otto A. Rosalsky, Judge Grover M. Moscowitz, Gedaliah Bublick, Dr. Stephen S. Wise, Judge William M. Lewis, National Chairman of the United Palestine Appeal, and Mrs. Anna Moscowitz Kross. Morris Rothenberg, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Appeal, will preside.
