The first annual dinner of the Long Island branch of the United Synagogue of America will be held at the Jamaica Jewish Center on March 10. Alex Schaefer of Jamaica is chairman of the dinner committee.

A survey of Jewish educational activities in congregations in Brooklyn is being made by the Brooklyn council of the United Synagogue of America, Martin Wechsler, president, announced. Its aim is to raise the standards of Jewish education and promote the study of Hebrew, the Bible, Jewish history, etc.

An attempt to consolidate Jewish organizations of the Bronx on behalf of Palestine will be made at a meeting of Bronx Jewish leaders next Tuesday night at the Concourse Plaza Hotel.

Assemblyman Irving D. Neustein, New York City Democrat, has introduced a bill in the Assembly to repeal the New York Milk Control Law provision fixing the price to the consuming public of milk. Lower prices, he believes, will result in consumption of more milk.
