A seven-week tour of Palestine from the beginning of July till the end of August is announced by The School of the Jewish Woman, 251 West 100th street, “to supplement class room studies by the experience of the living realities of Jewish life in Palestine.” On board ship courses will be conducted in conversational Hebrew and the History of Palestine, and in the Holy Land visits will be paid to the sites of important archaelogical excavations. The tour is to be conducted by Drs. Max Raisin, Aaron Rosmarin and Trude Weiss Rosmarin.
Important issues facing the forthcoming Zionist Congress will be discussed by Morris Rothenberg, president of the Zionist Organization of America at a special meeting of Zionist District No. 12 of the Bronx, to be held Wednesday evening at Temple Adath Israel, 169th street and Grand Concourse. Dr. Hyman D. Silver will act as chairman of the meeting.
