Mrs. Samuel D. Friedman, president of the Palestine Lighthouse, will be given a bon voyage luncheon at the Hotel Delmonico Monday, prior to her departure to attend the dedication in Palestine of the new building of the Institute for the Blind. Dr. David de Sola Pool and Dr. John Hayes Holmes will be among the speakers.

ICOR will hold a reception for Gina Medem, journalist and lecturer at the Central Opera House, Sixty-seventh street and Third avenue, this afternoon (Sunday). Miss Medem has returned from a long tour during which she spent considerable time in Biro-Bidjan. Prof. Charles Kuntz, national chairman of ICOR will be chairman.

Albert Mordell, author and critic will address the forum of the Brooklyn Jewish Center, 667 Eastern Parkway, Monday evening on “Judaism and Modern View of Sex.”

New officers will be installed Monday night at the Jacob H. Schiff Center, 2540 Valentine avenue, the Bronx. E. J. Londow and Rabbi Alexander Basel will conduct the ceremonies.

Four courses in Hebrew and methods of teaching the language in secondary schools will be given by the Teachers Institute of the Jewish Theological Seminary of America. They will be open only to graduates of a college of Jewish studies or its equivalent. Registration opens today (Sunday) in the Teachers Institute Auditorium, Broadway and 122nd street.
