Dr. Elias Lieberman, principal of Thomas Jefferson High School, will speak on “The Dream of a Jewish Homeland” at the Brooklyn Jewish Center, 667 Eastern Parkway, Wednesday night.
The regular Monday night informal meeting of the Men’s Club of the Inwood Hebrew Congregation, 111 Vermilyea avenue, will be addressed by Dr. Samson Benderly.
Jacob Axelrod will address the Young Folks League of Crown Heights at its monthly forum tomorrow night at the Crown Heights Temple, Crown street and Nostrand avenue, Brooklyn. He will speak on “The Socialist View of the New Deal.”
A lecture course in parliamentary procedure and public speaking will be inaugurated this morning at the Community House of Congregation Emanu-El, 1 East Sixty-fifth street, under the sponsorship of the education division of the Federation of Jewish Women’s Organizations. The course, to extend over six consecutive Mondays, will be conducted by Mrs. Harry Harvey Thomas. Mrs. Jacoby is chairman of the education division.
Dr. William F. Rosenblum will address the West Side branch of Ivriah at the Rutgers Club, 314 West Ninety-first street, this afternoon on “The Wandering Jew as Christians Portray Him and as the Jew Knows Him.”
A study course in “Major Crises in Jewish History” will be inaugurated tonight at the Ninety-second Street YMHA. Rabbi Joseph Zeitlin of Temple Ansche Chesed will give the initial lecture of the series on “From the Beginning to 566.” The course is sponsored by the Young Men’s and Women’s Division of the Federation for the Support of Jewish Philanthropic Societies.
