Aaron H. Kaufman has accepted the chairmanship of the wholesale and retail meat division of the Brooklyn Federation of Jewish Charities now campaigning for $543,000. The division has accepted a quota of $6,000 in the drive.

A summons charging sale of non-kosher meat as kosher and possession of meat not bearing the stamp of government inspection was served on the kosher meat firm of Lefkowitz and Kaplowitz, 1511 Westchester Ave., the Bronx, on complaint of Retail Kosher Meat Trade Code Inspector Max Mandell, it was announced yesterday by Chief Inspector Benjamin G. Friedman. The summons is returnable in Bronx Magistrate’s Court May 9.
