New York City’s comptroller delayed until September a meeting of U.S. public finance officials to assess how French banks are addressing charges they still own assets seized during the Holocaust, a spokesman for Alan Hevesi said Thursday. But the delay will not necessarily delay possible sanctions on the banks.
