The record $50,500,000 building fund and maintenance campaign now being conducted by the Federation of Jewish Philanthropies of New York has passed the $12,000,000 mark with two months of the official campaign period still to go, Ralph E. Samuel, president of the Federation, announced yesterday at the organization’s weekly “Campaign Cabinet” meeting, which was attended by Governor Thomas E. Dewey. The official figure as of Dec. 2 was $12,250,000 in pledges and contributions.
