More than $20,100,000 will have been raised by the Federation of Jewish Philanthropies of New York by the end of the current fiscal year on June 30, it was reported here today by Irving Mitchell Felt, president of the Federation, at its 48th annual meeting.

He said that results of this year’s fund-raising campaign were currently $600,000 ahead of last year, and if volunteer solicitors did not relax their efforts, this would be “the largest annual campaign result in the history of Federation.”

Reporting on the current building fund campaign, a network-wide capital expansion program calling for the expenditure of over $200,000,000 in new facilities and services and modernization and expansion of existing buildings, Mr. Felt said the Federation had passed the half-way mark in its fund-raising efforts.

He announced that 47 of the building fund projects had already been completed, including 12 hospital projects, 14 community center and day camping projects, seven child care and family services, 13 country camp projects and one for the aged. In addition, 20 projects are currently under construction, and dozens of others are in the blue-print stage, In all, some 300 projects will be completed as a result of the program.
