Lenox Hill Hospital announced a gift of $650,000 yesterday from the estate of Dr. Max Einhorn of this city, who willed the bulk of his $3,000,000 fortune to medical and charitable organizations in the city. The will was filed in Surrogates’ Court shortly after the gastroenterologist died Sept. 25, 1953, at ninety-one. But distribution was held up pending a suit brought by two of Dr. Einhorn’s nieces in Moscow, Russia. The suit was settled last December with an award of $45,000 each to the nieces.
