A new Memorial Wall was dedicated in the Felix M. and Frieda Schiff Warburg Room of the Federation of Jewish Philanthropies here commemorating the thousands of men and women who have left bequests to the Federation for perpetual support of its 116 agencies.
Mayor Robert Wagner, addressing the audience, praised the contributions made by the Federation through its agencies. “The story of the generosity, the philanthropy, the love of mankind demonstrated by the Jewish people of our city through the years is one of the brightest pages of our history,” he said.
